Stiefel's ceramic kilns parts are manufactured to withstand the extreme high temperatures and harsh conditions of industrial processes. For example, tungsten carbide - tipped burner nozzles resist erosion from high-velocity fuel streams while retaining atomization accuracy (≤30 μm) for over 10,000 hours of operation in ceramic kilns. Air-tight seals are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures with a uniform pressure. Seal ceramic fiber gaskets fill kiln doors and hatches creating an airtight seal preventing heat escape all while ensuring a uniform temperature distribution of ±5°C across the various zones within the kiln. In a glass kiln that produces artisanal glassware, our ceramic actuators with heat resistant seals increased airtightness by 90% which improved glaze consistency and reduced reject rates by 18%. Every component is subjected to extreme thermal shock tests ranging from 1,200°C to 25°C within 10 minutes. All of which guarantees reliability in the most demanding applications.
